Whether or not you believe in the oneness between animals and humans, prepare yourself for an emotional ride, cuz’ these photos are soul-fulfilling. Get it? Soul fulfilling, as in so fulfilling. Puns always intended

Tippi is her name and playing with wild animals is her game.

The vast, harsh deserts of Africa were considered Tippi’s playground while cheetahs, elephants, snakes, frogs, and other wild animals were treated as her playmates.

Just before Tippi was born, her French parents who worked as freelance wildlife photographers, made a bold decision to move to Namibia, Africa where they would give their daughter the upbringing of a life time.

When wildlife is all you know, a snake is as harmless as a kitten,

Or is it? That looks like a pretty big kitten to me.

Tippi was never born with a preconceived notion to fear animals, so even when it came to animals that could literally crush her, she embraced them as much as you would a puppy.

Animals gave Tippi the same love she gave them and they treated her as if she was a wild animal herself. Her best mates included many animals, including Abu the elephant and J&B the leopard.

Sun gazing?

This girl is a real life Mowgli from the Jungle Book 🙂

In her heart, she is an African and as a child she became like family to the local Himba tribes people of Kalahari. Tippi went on to learn an array of things from her extended family, including the native tongue and how to shoot a bow and arrow.

After 10 years of living amongst the exotic animals of Africa, Tippi’s family relocated to Madagascar and then France. Once Tippi arrived in France, she gave conventional school a shot for 2 years, however, traditional school was no match for her untamed life in Africa; Tippi’s parents chose to home-school her instead.

Naturally, you can only assume this girl has an abundance of stories to tell and only she can do them true justice, which is why you should read her bestselling book,  Tippi: My Book Of Africa. When Tippi was 16, she was featured in the documentary, Bridging The Gap To Africa and in total she has worked on 6 different documentaries with the discovery channel.

Walking like a straight up boss.

Today Tippi Degre is 24-years old and lives in Paris. Though the beauty of Paris is one in itself, her heart still calls for the wild.
