Set Yourself Free With This Amazing Forgiveness Ritual

We may underestimate the power of forgiveness. Some may feel forgiving people is weak or that some people don’t deserve to be forgiven. But choosing to forgive can actually cure your body of hate, anger and resentment and create a huge positive shift in your life.

In ‘The Game of Life and How to Play It’ – Florence Shovel Shinn, she explains perfectly how a woman developed sickness and disease in her body from her anger and hate towards someone else. She went to see a metaphysician who told her “Woman, see what hate and resentment have done to you; they have caused hard stones to form in your body and only forgiveness and good-will can cure you.” When the woman found it in her heart to forgive, she became healthy again and was cured.

See holding on to grudges, hurts us more than the other person. How to get your power back and set yourself free? Forgive. Do it for yourself.

Today is the day that you even forgive yourself for all the small things you keep feeling guilty and punishing yourself over. If you keep feeling guilty and unworthy, you will constantly stop yourself from feeling worthy to follow your dreams. Today is the day to forgive the past. Today is the day to forgive anyone who has ever hurt you and causes you to feel sad and frustration in your heart.

Today is the day you become free so you can now live your life with peace in your heart. Forgiveness doesn’t justify or make any situation OK, but it makes you ok. You don’t need to wait around for an apology, or for something to change, you can mentally forgive, which creates the most magic.

If you want to change the world around you, change what’s going on within you. Every single second is a chance to change your emotion and start again.

Forgiving is a mental detox, if you feel like you are constantly stuck between the past and constantly go over situations in your head, this may be the reason why you can’t move forward and are actually blocking all of the new blessings coming into your life.

Although it may be hard, it is a serious act of self-love to let go of things that are no longer serving you and creating a heavy space in your heart. You don’t need to forget it and block it out, but become aware, choose to forgive and release it all and let it go.

“Anger, resentment, ill-will, jealousy and revenge rob man of his happiness and bring sickness, failure and poverty in their wake.” – Florence Shovel Shinn

This ritual will create a huge shift in your life, you can do it as many times as you need to until you feel lighter and you are not focused on the negative situation anymore.

Mind Blowing Forgiveness Ritual

1. Make a list of 25 people and situations that you want to forgive.
2. Go through the list and imagine each situation, close your eyes picture in your mind how you felt and see the person.
3. See a black thick cord connecting you and the situation/person.
4. Black chord represents bad energy
5. Cut the chord and see it disappearing
6. See a white light replacing the chord connecting your heart and the other persons heart.
7. See the light between you both and accept that you are both equal, no harm was meant to be done, you are both humans.
8. Repeat: I’m sorry, I forgive you, Please Forgive me, I love You, Thank you.
9. Ask this energy to be sent up into the light to be healed.
10. Feel the negative energy moved from your body and open your eyes.

The Meaning Behind “I’m sorry, I love you, please forgive me, thank you.”

These terms come from the Ho’Poponono acient pray which means:

I’m Sorry: Taking responsibility for what is in your mind, taking responsibility for holding on to this pain for so long.

Please forgive me: Ask for forgiveness to release yourself and you are no longer affected anymore.

Thank you: Thank you for everything I learnt and thank you for forgiveness, fill your heart with gratitude.

I love you: Loving yourself and giving love to the situation to be healed. Love is the most powerful thing!

Who do you need to forgive? Take your power back, you deserve peace in your heart and life.
