Pentagon Confirms UFO Footage Yet Fails to Startle Public After Bizarre 2020

On Monday, April 27, 2020, the Department of Defense (DOD) released a statement regarding authorization of UFO videos to clear misconceptions circulating the public.

To further clarify the air, the pentagon released three “unidentified aerial phenomena” that had been previously released by a private company years ago.

According to the DOD, the footage is indeed real. However, the public is encouraged to not jump to conclusions over mysterious objects that have yet to be identified. There is a lot going on and the public domain is tense.

The response to this news shows the public is not as captivated which brings up interesting points to consider as we move forward in these uncertain times. Perhaps this is an opportunity to reflect outward at the immensity of our universe or maybe it’s an invitation to step further into ourselves as extreme levels of information can pose as a distraction.

You can hear the pilots in the background, “Dude, this is a f**kin’ drone, bro.” Another pilot states, “They’re all going against the wind. The wind is 120 knots to the west.” The video releases have also inspired the Navy to follow formal UFO reporting guidelines moving forward.

More on Video Release:

The video above was captured by naval aviators as objects hurtle against opposing winds and defy typical laws of physics. If you listen, you can hear the pilots express confusion and wonder as these objects dance before their eyes.

The videos were originally published in 2017 and 2018 by The New York Times and a company called To the Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences (TTSA).  According to their website, TTSA collects documents and physical materials from public and private sources related to the UAP phenomena to study it and then transitions the transformative technologies behind it to wider applications of public benefit.

Former guitarist and singer for Blink-182, Tom Delonge, is the founder of TTSA along with several former government employees. According to The New York Times, “We believe that this level of recognition is exactly what is required to eliminate the extreme skepticism surrounding U.A.P. events, so we can finally move forward to sharing and analyzing reliable data from respected institutions,” he said. “After 70 years of misinformation, it’s time that we make progress to understand the extraordinary technology being observed during these events.”

Former Senator Harry Reid tweeted in support of Pentagon’s release:

In the tweet below, Mr. Reid speaks on his long push for continuing research on UFO activity.

“I’m glad the Pentagon is finally releasing this footage, but it only scratches the surface of research and materials available,” he said Monday on Twitter. “The U.S. needs to take a serious, scientific look at this and any potential national security implications. The American people deserve to be informed.”

Food for Thought:

In a world invaded by microscopic beings (COVID-19), much of the public does not seem to be phased by an organization confirming what people have already seen. If that is so, why did the Pentagon really release these videos?

“This historic acknowledgment will cause a seismic shift in the attitudes and stigma surrounding these events, allowing more reputable institutions to openly share reliable data for research,” says Luis Elizondo, To the Stars’ director of government programs and services. While they are not claiming outright aliens exist, this does open up the discussion for further review, exploration, and credibility.

This topic is relevant, but it is also important to remember that these videos have been released years ago. It’s worth exploring the motive behind the timeliness in releasing these videos.

The confirmation of these videos is nothing more but an acknowledgment that unidentified objects exist—which is not anything new. How can this recently released information and classification assist humanity? Could this be a stir in shifting the public’s attention elsewhere as a distraction? Or perhaps it is a step forward in honoring transparency when it comes to the age-old question of “Are we really alone?”

Information is everywhere and accessible now more than ever. Considering all sides when presented with news is a practice worth implementing during these eventful times. Where do you desire your attention and energy to be directed? This will dictate what comes into your awareness and what is birthed from your experience.
