We’re seeing more people shift into present-minded awareness as many continue to awaken to their inner power. In fact, exercise on the mere physical level is just but one pillar of the super-beings we genuinely are. In this episode, Kash interviews James Schmachtenberger, founder of Neurohacker Collective. In this transformative episode, we learn more about how certain blends rewire neural pathways from an emotional level to be more present and connected.

To begin, guest co-host, Josh Trent, dives in by asking how a supplement actually makes someone more emotionally connected. In response, James mentions the fact that “humans are creatures of chemistry.” Similar to how the subconscious mind takes everything in, the chemical level at which certain aspects occur can leave a deep imprint on how we show up in the world.

“I have set out to help people get rid of the idea that it’s possible to advantage ourselves at the expense of others…,” James shares, all while becoming more empathetic and aware of the interconnectedness that exists.”

This is something that not only benefits the individual but also improves the collective when practiced from all levels. Kash brings this up when it comes to mindful business and working with others who align with our purpose. This all affects businesses, economies, neighborhoods, and interconnectivity.

Building New Models of Science

“We live in a world we’re physiologically not designed for.” —James Schmachtenberger

When Qualia, and the first products, were being created, James mentioned a new model of science needed to be put in play. He expands upon this by explaining, “We study healthy systems and we look at how health systems are able to adapt to various stressors.”

This allows Neurohacker to see what makes a vibrant and robust health system while sustaining its homeostasis. With a blend of 20-40 ingredients, each supplement is made to dance and bring out strengths within its mixture. James describes synergy as a crucial factor in each blend.

Creating Spaciousness Within the Self

“Develop that increased capacity so you can find the safety in yourself to be able to show up empathetically, vulnerably and in all the ways that you want to regardless of whether or not everyone can meet you there effectively.” —James Schmachtenberger

With his background in psychology, James has seen countless people try to do better in their lives only to be met with unmet expectations.

“Whenever you’re in a better state it’s easier to make better choices,” Josh advises. However, when one is experiencing low energy levels and emotions it can be difficult to choose to cook a healthy meal over takeout.

By creating space for ourselves, we are able to tap in and ask ourselves how we are doing. We begin to make better decisions when we are able to reflect and listen.

“Nothing is going to heal us but ourselves and our willingness to heal,” James reminds.
