A Crocodile Was Spotted Using a Pool Noodle to Swim Across a Canal in Florida

As a kid, I loved playing with a pool noodle in our family pool in the summer, maybe it was because I couldn’t swim?

Up until this day, I still cannot swim and I feel pretty ok with that considering what was spotted in Florida recently.

A crocodile was seen using a bright yellow pool noodle, stretched across his underbelly, passing through a canal in Key Largo, when local Victor Perez was busy in his backyard and managed to snap some rather entertaining pictures.

“I’m on my balcony, and all of a sudden, I see this noodle and there’s a crocodile hanging off of it,” Perez told the Miami Herald.

“It was just cruising along, and I was like, ‘OK, where’s the swimmer?’, ‘What happened to the guy with the noodle?'”

Nobody knows how exactly the happy croc came across the pool noodle, but he seems rather content drifting along without a care in the world.

“I don’t know how he got that thing, but he looked like just any typical Florida tourist!” Perez said.

While crocodiles are rather common in the area, spotting one using a pool toy is definitely a first!

“We see crocs from time to time in our canal but never ever one on a noodle,” Perez told FOX 13.

“He could have been from up north on vacation just chilling.”
