Chris Hemsworth Is Auctioning Off A One Hour Workout With Him To Raise Money For Firefighters

Chris Hemsworth, aka Thor of the Marvel Universe, is hailed as the most ripped of the superheroes of the big screen.

Now, with videos of Hemsworth’s gym workouts regularly being shared on social media it seems he has also become god of the gym, and with his latest initiative, we absolutely second that title.

Hemsworth is auctioning off an hour-long workout session with him and his wife Elsa Pataky in an effort to raise money for New South Wales firefighters battling devastating bush-fires in the area.

The Make It Rain Fire Appeal Festival, happening in early January will feature performances by legendary Aussie artists like Wolfmother, Bernard Fanning and several other musicians.

Hemsworth’s gym session is part of a host of other awesome items on auction for the event, including a tennis lesson or game for three with Pat Rafter, a surfing session with Joel Parkinson and Mick Fanning and a song writing session with ARIA award winner Bernard Fanning plus a full day recording session at Ian Haug’s Airlock Studios.

The event invite says: “A handful of your favorite Australian artists are inviting you to join them for two nights of entertainment in the heart of picturesque Byron Bay, this January, to raise money for the NSW RFS Northern Rivers and Far North Coast Brigades.”

Music festival tickets are selling fast, buy yours on their site and make your bid for the items on offer at the same time.

For those who can’t make it to Bryon Bay for the festival but still want to help ‘Fund the Firies’, buy a Hawaiian shirt instead. Designed by Mr. Koyake, the shirt has the Prime Minister’s face on it and 100 percent of sales will go to volunteer firefighting organizations.

Mr Koya writes: “Australia is reeling from an unprecedented bushfire emergency, and to rub coal into the wound, the Prime Minister has smirk-bombed his way to Hawaii for a refreshing mai tai.

“To mark this momentous abrogation of responsibility, MR. KOYA has created the Mahalo ScoMo – an enduring combination of Hawaiian vibes, simpering leadership vacuums, and the colours of an increasingly-combustible Australian summer.”
