Confidence is a mindset that can be developed by adding small habits into our daily lives. Although you wouldn’t think something such as being on time can have an effect on your confidence levels, they are actually connected in the sense that being on time means we have made a choice to do something at a certain time, we have been able to organise and manage ourselves to stick to something we chose to do, which in turn builds trust with yourself and other people.

Having confidence gives us the mindset to be able to pursue anything regardless whether we fail or succeed. We don’t need to be the most successful person to have confidence, but having confidence helps us on our way to success as we can wake up every day and take small steps to our dreams. Being able to persist when you keep failing or getting step backs is so beneficial, you can fail 99 times but all you need is that one time to change your life.

Adding these 12 small things into your life cost nothing and have a huge impact on your confidence: 

 

1. Being On Time
If you arrange to meet someone at a certain time, even if you think this person might be late, stick to the time for you, as it makes you trust yourself knowing you can always prepare and manage your time.

2. Strong Worth Ethic
When you have a strong worth ethic or passion, it fuels you up and gives you more confidence. Even if you do not like your current situation, if you put 100% effort into it now it will lead you to the best.

3. Be Your Own Competition 
Focus on yourself, be your best you. Go the extra mile, put yourself out there to do whatever it takes to give number one effort into whatever you are focused on.

4. Having A Good Attitude 
No complaining, gossip, talking badly about yourself or others. Having a good attitude gives you so much confidence.

5. Posture
Upright, no slouching tricks your brain to feeling good and confident.

6. Being Passionate
Develop the fire within!

7. Be Open To Learn

Just go out your way for someone even if they may not notice or appreciate it, knowing you did a good thing makes you feel great.

Be thankful for the people who are in your life and anyone who has helped you get to where you need to be.

12. Stop Comparing
There is only one YOU and that makes you unique! Some people achieve things at a younger age, some people achieve things at a later age, but whatever time is the right time, be grateful to be you. 🙂
